Pilot Whales!

One of the great things about being out on the water is you just never know what you might see. Just a couple weeks ago while diving off the Pirates Lady, one of the Blackbeards Cruises boats, guests had the rare opportunity to swim, snorkel and freedive with a pod of pilot whales. Often these creatures will swim away when approached by people but this group didn't seem to mind. The whales actually seemed to be as curious about the people as the people were with them.

We run group trips to the Bahamas several times a year with one coming up in September. Sign up and you never know what you might get to see!
